You can do two things with the Converseen application: you can resize images, and you can convert images from one image to another. If you want to, you can do both. You can resize and/or convert one image at a time, or you can select multiple images and batch convert/resize them. It’s all a very simple process that will not take long to complete.

Speaking about things that don’t take long, downloading the 11.2MB Converseen installation file will take little time on a high-speed internet connection. A setup wizard will be displayed when you run said file; it will help you get Converseen up and running on your machine in little time as well.

Getting accustomed to the Converseen interface will also take little of your time. The pane to the right displays the file or files selected to be resized and/or converted. The preview pane on the left presents the image you click on from the aforementioned pane to the right. The preview pane presents info on the image’s size. And down in the bottom right hand corner there’s a drop down menu for picking one of numerous image formats and the Convert button.

Support for more than 100 image formats is provided by Converseen. This means that you can feed Converseen any type of image you can think of and have it converted to basically any other format that comes to mind. You can convert just one image or you can batch convert multiple images at a time. As mentioned above, you can also resize images with Converseen; just one, or multiple ones at a time. You get to select where the converted/resized images will be saved and if you want them to be renamed.

Converseen is an open source project, meaning you won’t have to spend money to use image converter/resizer. But if you enjoy using the application and you want to support its development, consider making a donation.

Easily and rapidly convert and resize images - any kind of image, since Converseen supports more than 100 formats.

Pros

Converseen supports multiple languages and it supports more than 100 image formats. Use the application to convert and/or resize images (one at a time, or multiple images at once). The Converseen interface is very easy to use. Converseen does its job rapidly. Converseen is open source.

Cons

The Converseen window moves to its default location when you press OK or Cancel in the Settings menu; the application’s window will always open in that default location, no matter where you leave the window prior to closing the application.
